Organic Apple Cider Honey drink

Recently my friend Vi from Romania taught me bout a drink for nose allergy... so finaly today i got up and buy the apple cider vinegar and make some for dear...

Actualy, its almost the same as what dad does.. just that this is for drinking... I made for dear to try.. hoping can help his nose allergy.. he been having very block nose recently... else I will start him off the garlic honey..which i will mention later on...

The apple vinegar drink.. well.. it goes like this

1 glass of cold water
1 tsp of raw, organic apple cider vinegar
2 tsp of honey (preferbly organic)

mix well and drink..
it is a bit sourish.. but witht he honey it should taste ok... Gave dear 1 glass just now.. it was acceptable for him thou he say a bit sourish... guess as time passes he will get use to it...

Vi said thi sis good for sinus.. so I hope it works.. else I gotto get down to work.. and do the following for dear to try as well.

Garlic Honey

I learnt this during the trip to Cameron.

At a bee farm.. an old couple who runs the farm was showing us their products... different kind of honey.. they have ginseng honey, and garlic honey.. the old uncle specificaly mention that the garlic honey is for people with sensitive nose.. which I think its heaven's will... why he dont recommend his ginseng honey.. yet recommend the pungent garlic one?? since dear had nose allergy.. I was very interested in this.. and ask for sample.. The 1st thing dear react was.. 'taste funny' haha cos it really taste like eating raw garlic.. the smell the taste.. was so distinct.. but We kind of like garlic in our food.. so I thought prob he will be ok with it after awhile.. I said I will buy 1 fo rhim to try but he was reluctant.. somehow i managed to persuade him to try ... cost like RM$35 per small bottle as below..

I was unsure if it rally works for nose allergy.. not that I dont believe the old man.. but garlic itself have got naturaly healing and anti bacterial property but to soak in honey for months then eat... haha i think thats new.. Anyway I ask if they supply to other countries inc ase it really work and I want to buy more... no they said.. onli in cameron..arghhhh but the good thing was the uncle very kindly taught me how to do the same garlic honey.. he said it will be the same.. just need to buy honey and garlic... but need the special one thou..

As u can see from above.. the garlic look very round.. it is the single garlic or rather in chinese we call it 独蒜。it is more fragrant if u use it to cook and rare.. so far after going to 5 places I cant find this..
All u need to do is peel them clean.. bash them up a little clean with dry cloth, and soak them in honey for 3 months.. if u dont bash them up then u soak for 6 month...
Eat the garlic.. eat about 3 piece every morning n nite for 1 month and u shld be able to see the effect.. the honey can be used to make honey drink as well..
Already I have other plans.. I thought of making honey garlic ribs/chicken with the honey haha... i think it will be very BEST...

Hope to find the garlic soon so I can try to create my own garlic honey

As of the last time I spoke to Joai Thong bout this garlic honey.. he kindly sent me this link and they also show the smiliar garlic honey recipe.. also tells us in depth bout the garlic uses...

Lazy Fish head and Mui Choy with Kailan

Finaly cook my threadfin fish head today... threadfin is consider very expensive.. I guess its 2nd mnost expensive after Cod fish... Bought half a head the other day thinking of cooking curry with it.. who knows... we had curry fish head last night with Audrey.. and thus I gotto change my menu

Simple NO fry braised fish head
Thus cook the fish head by boiling.. then make the sauce by sauteeing garlic, ginger with shallots...
Following boiling some mushroom sauce with soy sauce, pepper and sesame oil... thicken with cornstarch and then add some chili slices to it...
Por over the cook fish head.. and here it is... a new fish head dish.. want to try bitter gourd with fish head next...

** notice that i did not deep fry the fish head... Im lazy... and also i think it will be healthy minus all the deep frying

and I was still thinking of the simple yet yummy dish I had at petaling Street in KL..

Mui choy with Kailan...
I tried to copy the dish..but added mushroom to it.. since it been like donkey days since we had loads of greens n such...

Its easy I thought but I cant get the same taste..
Chop the kailan up into small cubes... seperate the stem from leaves... chop up mui choy as well..
Sauteed the garlic, add in the kai lan stem.. then the mui choy... add in the mushroom and sprinkle over a bit of salt for taste.. add the leaves and fry... serve hot.

I dont really give precise recipe measurement.. since diff people have different taste.. and i really cook by gut feeling.. so adjustment is needed for us all.

Pumpkin steam brown rice

Dinner was Steam brown rice with pumpkin. Edith's recipe.. Tahnx Edith for sharing!!!

this is my 1st time cooking with pumpkin sinc ei dont fancy really sweet stuff.. it's texture reminds me of sweet potato actualy

I was blind enuff not to realise that i dont hav to precook both the rice or pumpkin.. argh.. I steam them beforehand. Anyway i simple stir fied what was required with the chicken and seasame seeds.. oh ya where did my sesame seed went to? like when i eat din taste any leh... haaa.. the tinge of dry shrimps make the taste of the 1 dish diiner good... smell so good.. not oily nor salty.. I love it. Hope i can do this again.. probably good enough to let ah dear eat as a diet lunch or dinner =)...
I made some miso soup as well since I was afraid he want something saltish...

Zooming off to make some avocado smoothie for him now..

My Silicon Brush.. More hygienic food now!

Went to the lifestyle shop at United Sq.. saw this cute thingy and I thought its time for me to change to a new brush for egg washing soon...

This is much better than those hairy type of brush i use.. mainly because I always have problem washing those hairs after prolong usage of the brush.. i worry the eggs dry and stuck there cant eash off properly..scare soap trap in between hair... 1 brsuh was easy to wash which was from sweden but the hair is too plastic and cause me to poke my cookies... so this is good
!! soft and easy to wash... yeahhhhh...
Good thing was Dear very nice today.. he did not har here har there when i say want to buy thing heh.. he say want then buy lor and he din hurry me to see my stuff... heh so Im really happy...Actualy the 1st brush i pick up cost like $15 plus then I ask the girl got any other brand.. she show me the Masnad brand.. got 2 size with metal handle I liek very much but too ex.. and she sho wme this.. chepaer.. onli $5plus.. so I go this instead... yeah yeah yeah
